Subject: Death of P1QR Mike Gallo To: Longmuir Gordon Gordon, P1QR Mike Gallo -- one of the first staff members to serve at HMCS Venture in 1954 -- was born in Winnipeg, MA, 1 July 1919 and died Saturday, 13 March 2010 at home in Victoria. Mike was a true gentleman who will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humour and BOOMING voice on the parade square. May he rest in peace.
