Dennis George Patrick Walker

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father Dennis George Patrick Walker, aged 79, on Friday, October 6, 2023, in hospital in Port Alberni, BC.
Dennis was born in Haslemere, Surrey, England to Alexander Walker and Lena Dunkley and came to Canada after WWII. He grew up in Calgary with his older and younger sisters, Sylvia and Margaret. Dad was very proud of his military service. He loved photography, the outdoors, and spending time with Carole camping and walking the dogs.
Dennis is survived by his two daughters, Allison (Sandy) and Mary (James); grandchildren, Kelly, Robyn, Jacob and Kaitlyn; and his sister, Margaret.
Dennis was predeceased by his loving wife, Carole Walker (Halls) and survived by her three children, Stephen (Charlene), Kevin (Pauline), and Heather; his loving grandchildren, Bradley (Jessica), Samantha (Kyle), Matthew (Branca), Brieanna, Lisa and Christopher; and great grandchildren, Grayson, Riley, Beau and Nina.
