I'm sorry to report that David passed away peacefully at 0200 Eastern time this morning (10 Nov 02). Natalie was with him and she said he'd been heavily sedated for the last few days and had wonderful care and attention in the Palliative Care Unit at the Lakeshore Hospital in Pointe Claire. He just simply stopped breathing and so ended the life of one of our fondest and best friends.
