Of Brentwood Bay, BC passed away after a brief and valiant battle with leukemia at Saanich Peninsula Hospital on March 16, 2012 surrounded by his wife and children.

Born in Toronto, Ontario on February 26, 1943. Predeceased by his father LCdr Clarence Montgomery, RCN (Ret). Survived by his wife Marlene and children; Laurie (Rick), Rob (Jane), Brian (Monika) and Stephen (Kate) and grandchildren, Kevin, Michael, Avery, Hannah and Jack. Also survived by his mother, Frances, mother-in-law, Ruth Gower and siblings, Jim, Paul, Ian, Wilf and Anne.

The last ten years Bob enjoyed working with the Commissionaire Corp at the RBC Museum.

No service per his request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada would be appreciated.

Note: Bob's father was an instructor at Venture (Inst LCdr C.W. 'Monty' Montgomery).
